Profile/Pastel Study

I am determined to get profile drawing down and I think I'm getting there!  It's so true what they say, especially in art, practice makes perfect!  A huge part of it is building up your confidence as you go along.

This is very nice. Sometimes when I paint faces in pastel it feels as if I am spreading makeup onto a face ... this has this feeling of 'real' beauty
